Dr. Biats is a greater Cleveland native and did his undergrad studies at Cleveland State University. He went to medical school at The Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville Missouri and his residence in Ob/Gyn at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Med and Cuyahoga Falls General Hopspital. He is board certified and a senior fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Ob/Gyn.
Dr Biats practices all aspects of general Ob/Gyn including deliveries, major surgies, laproscopic surgeries and the da Vinci Robotic System.
He is a professor and clinical trainer for several medical schools and for area residencies. He also was the department chairman and residency director for Ob/Gyn at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.
He practices at both Akron General Medical Center and Summa-Akron City Hospital.
