Dr. Polifrone is a native of Northeastern Ohio and he graduated from Bowling Green State University and completed his medical training at Ohio University. He is a graduate of the Akron City Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program.
He is trained in all aspects of minimally invasive surgery and serves as the Chief of Gynecology at Akron General Medical Center. He is a fellow of ACOG and enjoys all aspects of gynecological surgery.
He practices both Obstetrics and Gynecology at Akron General Medical Center and Summa-Akron City Hospital.
